5G Dance Cam Hologram

I creative directed and project managed an immersive pre-game fan experience, developed in partnership with the Atlanta Falcons, Nokia, and Jaunt, to demonstrate the future of sports entertainment through 5G, augmented reality, and volumetric capture. The activation invited fans to record their best touchdown dance and view themselves as holograms on the Falcons’ field, alongside cheerleaders and mascot Freddie the Falcon. Designed and executed end-to-end, the experience generated significant engagement both on-site and across digital platforms, setting a new standard for interactive fan experiences in live sports.

Staged just outside Mercedes-Benz Stadium before an Atlanta Falcons game, this experience merged storytelling, emerging technology, and interactive design to showcase the capabilities of 5G and volumetric video. Fans entered a custom capture studio, performed their best touchdown or celebration dance, and were transformed into holograms featured in a mixed-reality highlight alongside Freddie the Falcon and the cheer squad. The experience was powered by Nokia’s 5G infrastructure and Jaunt’s immersive media tools. The event was creative directed and project managed from concept through execution—ensuring a seamless, branded, and technically flawless activation.

The Challenge

Create a high-impact, interactive fan experience that could run in a busy outdoor environment and showcase real-time AR, 5G performance, and volumetric hologram creation. The experience needed to be intuitive and fun while reinforcing the innovative capabilities of each brand involved.

The Solution

A fully interactive experience where fans became the stars. After recording a celebration dance in a volumetric capture booth, fans saw themselves projected as holograms on the field with the Falcons cheerleaders and Freddie the Falcon. Using 5G connectivity for rapid rendering and playback, the experience created real-time, shareable content that blended entertainment and technology. It was executed with close coordination across brand, tech, and production teams under a unified creative direction and project management framework.

The activation delivered impressive results: • 67% post-event engagement with holograms • 81% of participants shared the experience with family and friends • 100K+ social engagements with highlight reels post-event The experience generated excitement, increased brand visibility, and positioned Nokia, Jaunt, and the Falcons as pioneers in the use of immersive tech for fan engagement. It became a benchmark activation for what’s possible when creativity, technology, and storytelling collide.
